He was so fun, shared about his family, took great pictures for us, and was up for adventure. We drove through rivers, mud, up a mountain side to an overlook, back down to the beach, and to a local waterfall tucked away at the end of a neighborhood. These are all gems I would never have found on my own, touring CR. We saw macaws, cows, and amazing mountain scenery. The lunch was authentic delicious cuisine and they ended the tour with refreshing watermelon and pineapple snack, but I was so full! Me and 2 friends took a tour hour and I was so pleased with how it went! Andres was our tour guide and he was great! The pace of the ride was great. We got to take a break at the top of an overlook of the ocean and captured some beautiful views. We also got to stop at a local beach bar and walk around. Great time riding through the jungle, through rivers, and even a pasture of cows. Tons of variety, felt safe the whole time. Andres was a great guide and even found some white-face monkeys and a poisonous frog. The waterfall hike at the end is not for the faint of heart. We saw 3 waterfalls and each one was trickier to get too. You will get your feet wet and muddy, so rubber boots would be great, but sneakers are just fine. They pickup and bring you back to the hotel. Took the 3-hour ATV adventure. Before we began Andres made sure our helmets fit correctly and we were safe in operating the ATV before heading out on all the trails, up a mountain, two beaches. Got to enjoy local Costa Rica ice cream at one of the beaches. Andres was knowledgeable about edible fruits and plants that he’d find and share with us. They’re bilingual in English/Spanish. They provided lockers to lock up my bag. Rates were very reasonable and insurance was only $20 to cover any damage to the ATV. They provided water and fresh fruit at the end of the ride.
