Central Pacific Costa Rica
This region of the country is especially attractive to visitors who are in search of beautiful beaches, sun all year round, and also the warm temperature and waters of the Pacific Ocean. The rainy season comes between April and November which is mild and aid in keeping the vegetation completely green.
The road that connects the Central Valley with the Central Pacific area allows the visitor to enjoy a variety of landscapes, that is pastures for cattle, sugar cane plantation, fruit trees, evergreen forests on the hilltops.
These forests show the transition from the humid tropical forest to the dry tropical forest. Over the Tárcoles River Bridge, it’s possible to see crocodiles lying on the banks of the river.
